Poor Customer Service - Installation Technician Never Arrived, nor Notified Me

Hi,

 

I was scheduled to have Fios service installed today at 8am-12pm EST, so I took off work (lost a day's income), woke up very early, and tidied up my apartment so that a technician could come up this morning to install service.

 

No one showed up. The Order Status page said it was never assigned to a technician. Now it says "We are unable to determine the status of the technician at this time." I lost a day's worth of income today because the technician never arrived.

 

I contacted Verizon Customer Service, who said that the techs were most likely not going to send someone out to my apartment today. I am extremely frustrated because I am a college student and a full day's wages are very significant to me. 

 

I have already waited close to two weeks for service, and if a tech does not install it soon, I will be switching companies immediately.
