Hello,

 

I recently signed up for a new Verizon Fios account and I have run into a plethora of issues since. I received a new router last week and an email saying a technician would come out between 1-3 two days ago (7/17/2017) but a technician never showed up. I called Verizon and the first representative I spoke to told me that I was marked for self install but she would transfer me to technical support. Technical support said they saw a ticket open for a technician to come out but would try to help me. After working with them for over an hour they said the problem on their end was fixed but I needed to call customer service again because my account was still "pending." I called customer service again and they transferred me back to technical support. I ended up calling 7 times and contacted Verizon multiple times through online chat and I have been consistently bounced around or had my call/online chat "end unexpectedly." The last tech support representative I talked to admitted to me that the people I spoke with earlier were just being lazy and he said he would set up an appointment for a tecnician to come out to my house this weekend. He also said he would make sure I received a confirmation email and that he would call me back in an hour to make sure I did.

 

I never got a confirmation email and the rep never called me back. So I contacted Verizon again yesterday (7/18/2017) and they confirmed that no technician was scheduled. And after getting my first two online chat's "unexpectdly dropped" after long waits I had a customer service rep tell me that I would be eligible for an account credit and that she had signed up a technician to come out saturday. But again, she told me I would get a confirmation email last night which never game.

 

All in all I have spent over 6 hours dealing with Verizon, and while everyone has been very friendly, no one has been able to help me and after a while they just hang up or disconnect from me. Now, to make matters worse I cannot sign into my Verizon account on any internet browser. I have tried on three different browsers on three different computers and it seems the only way I can ever access my account is through the mobile app. If I sign in on a computer it signs me out almost instantly after taking me to the main screen. So my questions are as follows:

 

  1. Can you please confirm for me that a technician will be coming out on Saturday to help me?
  2. Can you try to figure out why I cannot sign into my account from a computer?

 I just moved to this area and I am used to working from home. The last two days I was expecting to be able to use Fios and I have scrambled to find coffee shops and other wifi networks so I can work. I know this is no ones fault directly but I am upset and, frankly, a little angry.
