I was setup with FIOS yesterday and unfortunatley had to have it set up on the complete opposite side of the house from where my modem and router were originally. Im barely maintaining 20 Download and 20 Upload (my plan should be 100/100) would it be worth it to use my Netgear as a wireless repeater OR should i just hard wire it( which would mean drilling holes and running wire to the other side of my house, I dont mind its just a hastle and i have to wait for my cables to come in). If bridging is worth it how would i go about it. I have not been able to figure out how to set the quantom as the base and the things i have seen on the forum dont seem to apply to my setup.
