Verizon FIOS new community

Hi,

Ours is a new community in NJ and only has xfinity, what is the process of getting Verizon FIOS in our community. I called the call center multiple times but I was told that Verizon has no service in our community. But I see Verizon FiOS in nearby community and houses.
