Frequent delays in installation

Hello, I've been a FiOS customer for a few years now and about a month ago moved into a new house. I scheduled the installation appointment 2 weeks before I moved in.

The first appointment date they gave me was June 6th so I called off work but no one showed up that date, so I called in and they told me there were some delays of some sort and told me a technician would call me to reschedule, that never happened. I called Verizon to reschedule and they gave me today's date June 14th, so I called off work yet again.

Well today came and went and they never showed up again so I've missed 2 days of work and I still have no Internet or cable service. I called in and they want to reschedule AGAIN for next week! I've been almost a month without Internet and they keep delaying my installation a week at a time! Why can't they reschedule for the next day at the least the same week?

Is there anything I can do but to keep calling off work and hope they show up one day? Please help me out here!
