Let me first start off by saying that I dumped Comcast 4 years ago for the same exact problem, wasting my time! I pay for 50/50 Fios but my speeds are routinely under 20/10, infact most of the time. I have never seen the speeds that I pay for. I spent 40 minutes on hold this morning only to be disconnected when someone picked up. I call back in, 30 more minutes getting zero accomplished with the reps. I finally said to just send out a technician and that I'm done running tests for them and I hung up. They call me back wanting to run more "tests" and checking blinking lights. After an hour and a half I finally asked them if they are sending out a technician and they said it would be a additonal charge. A additional charge to come fix their service??? I finally had to tell them to cancel my services and to just come pick up their equipment which will be waiting for them out by the mailbox. A call in for slow internet speeds should NEVER desolve into "Cancel my services and come pick up your crap". I feel like a jerk for being rude to the reps but this is how they are trained to treat people, to waste the customers time before Verizon spends a penny to fix their problem. At a certain point they should have just sent someone out to look at the problem since I have been telling them about it for a few years.
