Actiontec model mi424wr Rev i bridge mode failed

Recently I got a new Tmobile wireless router and try to replace my currently mi424wr Rev i router. I used following instructions here to setup bidge model:

After finished setup and reboot the mi424wr, I can't login to the router any more and also I can't ping the router. The new Tmobile router can't get external IP address. I tried couple times and no one is successful. Does any one has same issue and how I can make the bridge works for my  mi424wr Rev i?
