Ground wire question

Hey guys, I Checked my wires and realized the ground wire  from the ont isn't connected to a ground source. It's only connected to ground block and then the ground block is connected to a ground source. Is that ok or does the ont ground wire have to connect to a ground source directly. Thanks guys I really appreciate your help. I will give out something special for any help .
