my coop got fios last year, so i'm finally giving up on twc coax after 10 years.
I am booked for a 2-3 hour install window next week.
beside clearing a path for the installer to work and staple fiber to my trim,
and providing an unclutterred 110v grounded outlet area for the ont & router,
is there anything else I can do to encourage the guy to splice me in just right?
I'll be using my own 1gig Linksys wifi router off the ONT's ethernet port,
so I guess he should disable the coax MOCA and Phone ports on the ONT.
so is there anything special I need to tell him to set me up in bride mode,
so the ONT is just a dumb 50:50 gateway,
and my router does the local NAT/DHCP work.
